Appeal Letter – Plagiarism Decision

The purpose of writing this letter is to formally appeal the decision regarding plagiarism in my submitted work. I would like to clarify that all the requirements outlined in the assignment instructions were carefully followed. The formatting guidelines were adhered to, and all aspects of the work were completed in accordance with the provided instructions.

All references were included and formatted as required, and every source used in the essay was properly cited. Any information that did not include a direct citation was paraphrased appropriately to ensure academic integrity. I made a conscious effort to ensure that no content was presented as my own without proper acknowledgment. Every idea obtained from external sources was either cited or rewritten in my own words.

Furthermore, this assignment was a book review, meaning that the primary source of information was the book itself. The book was fully cited as required, and the analysis presented in the essay was based on that source. Any direct quotations identified in the plagiarism report were taken from the book and are covered under the main reference listed. Therefore, these similarities should be understood as properly referenced material rather than plagiarism.
